For the past few weeks, I’ve been working with asdfon the core library for our games, CrashCourse. It’s written on ┬átop of LWJGL, and includes 3D drawing/moving capabilities. What this means for our overall production is that we will be able to use this code for all our games, speeding up development.

 

Currently it contains these features:

  • Entity system
  • Render system
  • Linear Interpolation
  • Split render/update loops
  • GUI System
  • BufferedImage/OpenGL texture conversions
  • Pre-Patterned shapes
  • Many helper methods for arrays, such as printing and generic copies

We are also working a new logo that will looks something akin to this:
